Habitat for Humanity
The Smith County Bar Association sponsored a Habitat for Humanity home to provide shelter for a woman and her four children in Tyler. Hatchell PC joined other area law firms in providing financial support for this new home.
Children Ministries
St. Paul Children's Foundation supports the youth in an east Tyler neighborhood through a medical clinic, after-school program, and a food pantry.
Scholarships for Youth Program
The Dallas Town North YMCA has a mission to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. Hatchell PC has contributed to their 2002 Partners Sustaining Campaign. This campaign includes scholarships to Camp T'Sungani to give children the opportunity to attend summer camps.
Cancer Research and Education
Hatchell PC is a sponsor for the 2002 Komen Tyler Race for the Cure. The race funds local and national breast cancer research and health initiatives in the East Texas area. Molly Hatchell participated as one of the captains for the "De Novos" Team - a team that represents the Women's Section of the Smith County Bar Association.
Research and education for Leukemia and Lymphoma Hatchell PC was proud to sponsor "Team in Training" member, Dennis Winnop of Dallas, Texas, in the St. Petersburg, Florida (2001) triathlon to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
